Cooperative learning: Animals

Both first and second grade primary took place in a cooperative learning activity during their science classes. Using animals as the theme the children worked together to create a mind map. The idea was to work in small groups where students had to make decisions between themselves, take responsibilities and produce a result which they could all feel part of. This activity encouraged the children to think for themselves, to help each other learn and to be creative in their own way.
So, my dear students congratulations on such a great job! I hope you enjoyed working in teams and more importantly I hope you learnt a lot from this activity. Happy Easter to Everyone and see you later Alligators!”
